Dear History Group Members.
Very recently, a working party consisting of Committee and other members worked diligently on sprucing up our Lime Kiln situated in Kiln Road.
Our sincere thanks to all concerned in restoring our village status symbol to a pristine state once again.

On reflection, may I draw the membership’s attention to the fact that without this regular dedication over the years this particular structure identifying our industrial past would soon slip back into obscurity.
This was how it looked before John Milne, our highly regarded past Committee member, found it and initiated it’s revival!
For the attention of future Galmpton generations!
