Written confirmation of statement made at Friday 17th September meeting, held at the Galmpton Village Institute
Dear Member,
Your Committee has come to the conclusion that following our considerable dormant period and now, renewal, we need to simplify and make greater use of modern digital technology. At the same time we are very aware that we must keep our lines of communication accessible to all. The following changes have therefore been introduced.
Our annual programme brochure of events will cease. In its place those members who have provided e-mail addresses will be regularly updated with programme details by e-mail. These updates will also appear on the History Group website. Posters of forthcoming events will continue to be positioned in the regular sites. Printed copies of forthcoming programmes will be available at each meeting, or from the Galleon Stores/Post Office on request at any time.

2. Membership subscriptions have now ceased as from March 2021. In its place funds will be raised by a £2 entry fee to talks and possibly other events, for members and non-members alike.
We quite appreciate that members will have their own thoughts on these changes. I would be very grateful to receive any constructive comments that your Committee can discuss regarding the future wellbeing of our Group.
